When I set out to make reed diffusers with my signature fragrances, I was worried I wouldn't be able to create a product that lived up to my expectations. One of my number one rules is that each product I sell needs to be something I would want in my own home. I wanted a reed diffuser that evoked a piece of history the way my brass pieces do, but also something contemporary that belongs in today's home. To me, this is it.
This vintage pottery from Tennessee has such graceful proportions and perfect scale for these 10 inch reeds. To use, just insert the reeds directly into the vessel. I like to dip the reeds in the oil and then immediately flip them for a more immediate scent throw. It can take a couple days for scent to reach its full strength. If after a few days, you find the scent is too strong, remove a couple reeds. Flip weekly or as needed to refresh the scent.
Truly a vintage piece, and that's what makes it so gorgeous. Marked 'Pigeon Forge Pottery' on bottom.
