I've seen vintage lamp shades with a strongly textured, wabi-sabi like weave in a range of tans and grays - and this is as close as I've ever seen. It's maybe a little better than the vintage ones because this thin linen is great for light diffusing. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI love the visual interest and how it automatically make a lamp shade feel finely aged. The color range is soft and inviting while still allowing plenty of light into a space. I think this shade fabric would look wonderful on a contemporary lamp, and it especially shines on vintage lamps.
