These rainbow and wine red color block pillows are made of vintage fabric I inherited from my grandma. Looking through the fabrics she acquired through the decades, it's beautiful to see that her color palette stayed fairly consistent, even as the trends changed. I especially like that her color palette just happens to be similar to mine.
I love making these pillows because it makes me feel close to her, and I thoroughly enjoy seeing all her color and pattern choices and how many of them overlap with my style. My grandmother's bold primaries, jewel toned patterns, and collection of chambrays and white eyelets are a treasure to me, and I know she would be so excited to see me putting them out into the world for others to enjoy. Don't worry, I keep plenty for myself, too.
