FEATURES Vintage large copper bowl Premium soy & beeswax blend Seven wicks Fragrance Free 50 oz.
This oversized copper candle is a little different than my vintage brass candles, but I couldn't stop looking at this piece. The copper has just the right patina, emphasized by the folds, ruffles, or wrinkles, whatever you would like to call this striking detail. When I look at it, I see crumpled up paper in these shapes. Seeing this form in metal is so intriguing to me. Pair the deep burnt orange color of this copper with its dramatic size, and I just had to see what it would look like as a candle. I am not disappointed. I think it's super cool.
Truly a vintage piece, this copper piece is tarnished with signs of ware, and that's what makes it so gorgeous. Marked Drumgold 275-11 on bottom.
Because of the size of this piece, plan to burn it for a few hours every time for an optimal burn. Beeswax is slow melting, so it will take some time to develop a good wax pool.
Too often, I have fallen in love with pieces of old, only to tell myself they serve no purpose in my life. This Vintage Ud Candle Collection gives these beautiful pieces a fresh start. These vessels get a new purpose (or in some cases, they get to relive their original purpose), either way, after this next stage, these darling vessels can be used to hold jewellery, candy, or they can be repoured as candles all over again.
Premium soy & beeswax blend used for optimal burn and flame color. See Product Care page for candle burning guidelines.
