It's no secret that I love claw footed accessories! I have to stop myself from collecting them all. I don't remember when it started, but I do remember thinking in my History of Interiors classes (over a decade ago) that claw feet were the most ridiculous design idea. Well, somewhere between then and now that skepticism flipped into admiration. I doubt it's going away any time soon. If anything, my love of claw feet, especially little brass ones, has grown. This piece feels almost magical - like it is straight out of a fairytale and it might follow me around the room and wag it's non-existent tail.
Truly a vintage piece, this brass piece is tarnished with signs of ware, and that's what makes it so gorgeous.
