While this fabric isn't quite a traditional boucle, it has all the beauty of a boucle fabric, and maybe even more. Boucle fabric has little thread loops that give it it's characteristic texture. This fabric isn't made with loops, it's handwoven by Amanda of Thief & Moth here in Madison, Wisconsin. Amanda designed this gorgeous fabric with extreme variation in thread thickness to create this wonderful boucle-like texture. I'm even more in love with this fabric in person than in photos. I definitely have kept a couple of these pillows for myself.
