I had so much fun making this tassel! With it's silver toned accents and wooden loops, it's a completely new style unlike anything I've ever made before. I love the detail of the pill shape on top adding to it's modern, funky style. Due to the more intricate bead work on this tassel, I wouldn't recommend it in areas with a lot of traffic. The loops and silver beads are free-flowing and if shaken up, this tassel can get a little tangled. Most of my tassels will handle being hung on the front door knob or a purse just fine, but this tassel is probably better suited to a calmer area.
You can hang this tassel from a curio door, a blanket ladder, or even just hang it on the wall as decorative art.
There are so many possibilities for tassels in a modern room. I play around with looping tassels into my lamp shades, but you can also use them in curtain tie backs for a more traditional use. I've even used small tassels wrapped around my candles (when they aren't lit of course), and around lidded containers in the bathroom and kitchen. I look forward to seeing the creative, contemporary ways you will find to use tassels!
Tassels can be brushed with a comb or trimmed with a scissors if needed in the future.
