This tassel is jewelry for your home! Many times, my designs are inspired by the materials I find. This is one of those times. The handblown glass beads are the icing on the cake for this gorgeous double tassel. It adds a refreshing organic element that complements the brass and gives this door knob tassel the glamor of an art deco piece. I've been exploring some new techniques in my latest tassels. This tassel is currently the only one of its kind, but there will be more to come in the near future.
You can hang this tassel from a door knob, a blanket ladder, or even just hang it on the wall as decorative art. Any glass cabinet of curiosities is just calling for a tassel in my opinion.
There are so many possibilities for tassels in a modern room. I play around with looping tassels into my lamp shades, but you can also use them in curtain tie backs for a more traditional use. I've even used small tassels wrapped around my candles (when they aren't lit of course), and around lidded containers in the bathroom and kitchen.
