Many times, my designs are inspired by the materials I find. This is one of those times. That triangular top bead is made of solid brass, is heavy, and is so cool! I was waiting for just the right tassel design to incorporate that cool detail. This is it. I've been exploring some new techniques in my latest tassels. This tassel is currently the only one of it's kind.
You can hang this tassel from a door knob, a blanket ladder, or even just hang it on the wall as decorative art. Any glass cabinet of curiosities is just calling for a tassel in my opinion.
There are so many possibilities for tassels in a modern room. I play around with looping tassels into my lamp shades, but you can also use them in curtain tie backs for a more traditional use. I've even used small tassels wrapped around my candles (when they aren't lit of course), and around lidded containers in the bathroom and kitchen. I look forward to seeing the creative, contemporary ways you will find to use tassels!
Tassels can be brushed with a comb or trimmed with a scissors if needed in the future.
