One of my favorite reasons for using vintage vessels to make candles is that they have character that only age can give them. They become one-of-a-kind pieces that add history and coziness into any space. The other reason I love them is because once the candle is done, you have a lovely, functional bowl that you can turn back into a candle or use for something else. I always hated throwing out perfectly good candle containers.
