I love finding unique pottery that shows the marks of the hands that made it. This little pouring pitcher is a real gem. It's so simple, but the details are wonderful. The peek-hole handle is beautifully done, and I love the scallop around the bottom. Even the fact that there is clay baked into the makers mark like the signature was added quickly and the excess clay wasn't wiped away - just an awesome detail. I couldn't capture all the angles in one photo, it's 3D art that can only be fully enjoyed by holding it in person. The ceramic swirl in the interior is great, and the blue color just pops against the brown. I love it & I hope you do, too.
