This ceramic jug is aged with signs of ware, and that's what makes it so gorgeous. It is pleasantly worn in and perfectly imperfect. If this is a concern, please see photos and ask questions before ordering.
This jug is one of the coolest I've ever come across! It is a stocky size (it's a little bigger than I would expect from a bud vase style jug). And the double handle is a masterful detail. It fit beautifully in my hand while I was photographing it. While it would make for a lovely pouring vessel with it's comfy double handle, this ceramic vessel would look even better on the mantel or on a bookcase showing off it's lovely form and great glaze colors. The greens, browns, and subtle red is so moody and is only matched by the fantastic speckled glaze and raw clay side. Such an interesting piece!
