One of my favorite things is mixed metals. Whether it's pairing white and yellow gold in a necklace, or brass and copper in this gorgeously made bowl, I love how mixing metals can make a piece timeless. This one was a hard one to list; it almost ended up in the 'I'm keeping it's pile, but I decided it needs to belong to someone who has just the right spot to put it in. Truly a vintage piece, this copper piece is tarnished with signs of ware, and that's what makes it so gorgeous.
Because of the size of this piece, plan to burn it for a few hours every time for an optimal burn. Beeswax is slow melting, so it will take some time to develop a good wax pool.
Too often, I fall in love with vintage pieces and don't know what to do with them in my space. I love giving these vessels a new purpose as a candle. After this next stage, they can be used to hold jewellery, candy or keys; or they can be repoured as candles all over again.
